In the empty textile factory Cordonier in Wetteren, Belgium, the exhibition ‘Aangeraakt / Touché’ opens on Saturday April 21st. Curator Eric Bracke invited fifteen artists and artist duo’s to show their work in dialogue with the former knitwear factory.
For a three-year period, Belgian author and director Peter Verhelst and letter-engraver Maud Bekaert will work intensively together with other artists. In specific locations of the historical city of Bruges, they will set up ritual QNX-spots.
ZON Anima/Animus is a new 10 metre high bronze Monument of Johan Tahon made for the city of Ostend in Belgium. The sculpture will fall from the sky at a secret location at the beginning of 2013.

Reniere&Depla are reinvited this year as guest curators in Villa de Omen. Under the exhibiton title "Mais l’aile ne fait pas l’oiseau" they are presenting work from six contemporary artists in the historical context of the interwar dwelling.
